Fall weather can be unpredictable and I've recently had to reschedule a few sessions due to rain. So I was super happy that we were able to enjoy a dry and beautiful fall evening last weekend capturing this adorable family of five. The colors are gorgeous right now and it was a delight to work with this family that I've become friends with over the past few years at our kid's elementary school. I have a few remaining weekends open for sessions in November. Contact me soon if you are interested!

Carrie and I taught together at Mill Park over 7 years ago! I was honored when she contacted me to photograph her new baby. Newborn sessions are long and challenging but I still adore them. There is nothing that compares to holding a week old baby. Check out the cutest little fox outfit ever!
I met the Salengers when our oldest kids were in preschool together. It is so much fun to photograph families that I have known for years and I was super excited when Josh contacted me to schedule a session as a birthday gift for his wife. This park is my new favorite place to photograph and this session didn't disappoint. What I love best is that the beautiful gardens change according to season and when we met back in July, the hydrangeas were in full bloom.
The Jenkins Estate was abloom with so many Rhododendrons!!! I spent a lovely evening with this beautiful, soon-to-be, graduate. It was the perfect evening, catching up with her mom (we used to teach together) and walking through these amazing gardens. I love photographing high school seniors, hearing about their plans for the future and thinking about all of the amazing things that lie ahead. Congratulations Julia!
My nephew graduated today!!! I had the pleasure of photographing him last summer while vacationing at Eagle Crest with family. I am so proud of his accomplishments and look forward to watching him begin the next chapter of his life. And just look at that smile! Congratulations Jarrod!
My last session for 2017! And my 5th year since I started my photography business. There is a lot to love about this job, and one of those is creating relationships with clients and getting to see their littles grow. I had such fun seeing this family again. I taught with this mama before we were moms and took family portraits for them a few years ago. It was wonderful to get them all in front of the camera again! If you are interested in scheduling a session for 2018, it is never too early to get your family onto my calendar. If you are interested in gifting a session to a loved one, I do have gift certificates available. Message me for more details.
My final round of mini sessions for 2017! These sessions were rescheduled due to rain and we lucked out. While it was a definite chilly, fall day - the sun was out, the trees were in full color and this adorable family was a blast to work with. When you get to photograph one of your best friend's family, the session feels like play time.
I have no idea why I haven't been photographing families at this park in Beaverton before now. The amazing trees and plant life here made for a dreamy session with this wonderful family.
I was delighted when I was finally able to book a session for one of my childhood friends. She needed some new headshots and we were able to combine her personal session with a few photos of her beautiful girls and their dad too! Here, in Oregon, we are being spoiled with some amazing Fall weather and I am hopeful it lasts a few more weeks until the rest of my family and mini sessions are completed for the season.
Another super fun session with a super fun family (who I also happen to be friends with). When you get to share your love of photography by capturing some pretty sweet moments with a good friend and their adorable kids, you know you are following your joy.
